AACA National
The AACA, the Antique Automobile Club of America, was founded in 1935 by a small group of enthusiasts who attended antique automobile derbies. These derbies, started in Philadelphia in 1931, prompted Frank Abramson, and Theodore Fiala to envision forming a club for participants. The AACA’s mission is to preserve and promote the history and enjoyment of antique automobiles.

AACA Ottawa Capital Region
Welcome to the Ottawa Capital Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA)—part of the world’s largest antique automobile club, established in 1935. Our local region was founded in 2014, bringing together passionate collectors, restorers, and admirers of historic and special-interest vehicles.
We celebrate authentic automobiles that are at least 25 years old for national events, while also welcoming special vehicles—newer or classic—for local gatherings. Whether it’s vintage passenger cars, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, or unique automotive treasures, our club embraces them all.
As a thriving community, we host monthly meet-ups (excluding winter) where members showcase their vehicles, exchange stories, and connect over a shared love of automotive history. We also participate in car shows, scenic tours across Eastern Ontario, and displays at special events, senior residences, and more.
Our passion for classic cars isn’t just about the vehicles—it’s about preserving heritage, fostering friendships, and keeping the spirit of automotive history alive.
